The Agriculture Focused Financial Planning program educates financial service professionals to address the needs of modern agricultural stakeholders. This course provides an overview of the financial planning process, communication, taxation and regulation, and risk management for the farm and farmer. The AFFP helps farm stakeholders reach their personal financial goals including retirement, education, and succession planning. 

The Agriculture Focused Financial Planning designation (AFFP) provides financial service professionals with a body of knowledge to better serve the financial needs and goals of clients associated with agriculture or living in rural communities. The designation is focused on assisting insurance agents, investment advisers, bankers, and registered representatives of broker/dealers who office and work on “main street” America. However, anyone with interests in financial planning and agriculture will benefit from this designation.
